Inhye has a mixed background in anthropology (BA, Seoul National University) and interactive arts (MPS, ITP New York University) and wants to transform the ordinary surroundings into a playground where interesting stories arise. She has shown her work throughout the US, Europe and Korea at venues including World Maker Faire, Dumbo Arts Festival, Museum of Television and Radio, Scope Basel, Art Paris and Sang Sang Madang. She is a recipient of Artist in Gallery Prize at the 8th Arte Laguna Prize in Venice, Italy. She received residencies from Signal Culture, Staten Island Maker Space and the Institute for Electronic Arts. She and her scientist collaborator are invited as artist in residence at the School of Visual Arts’ Visible Futures Lab in spring 2018.
