Michelle López joined CMA as the Director of Community Programs in July 2014. She earned her Masters degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Hofstra University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from Fordham University.
Michelle is committed to making cultural institutions more accessible for all audiences. As a program designer, she has been recognized for developing ground-breaking initiatives that strive for inclusion and reflect the diversity of families in New York City. Her strengths are in creative programing for people with special needs and developing multilingual cultural programming.
Prior to joining CMA, Michelle served as the Manager of ArtAccess Programs and Autism Initiatives at Queens Museum in New York.
