Throughout our works in progress exhibit, CMA Teaching Artist Yung Oh Le Page will be guiding young artists to create projects based on processes he uses for his own cardboard creations. Through a series of weekly lessons, participants will learn how to create 3D models, manipulate surfaces, and incorporate materials. Please come back every week to learn a new technique! Lesson 1: Mostly Cones involves turning flat shapes into three dimensional objects. (Note: Prior to the workshop, Yung will be in the gallery working on his own cardboard sculptures. Please feel free to stop by and ask any questions you may have or simply observe his art making techniques.)
