Humans refer to nature as inspiration for construction, but we rarely pay enough attention to impacts on nature from the constructions. Nature is honored for its structure, but not as a part of human existence. Inspired by Ellen Harvey’s portfolio of artworks, this workshop will use maps to create natural objects by gluing map fragments double-sided onto card stock papers cut out in natural shapes from stencils.
