Looking closely at the work of celebrated sculpture and printmaker, Elizabeth Catlett, young artists will create and design their own relief prints! Famed for her illustrations of the African-American experience during the 20th century, Catlett’s work employs both abstract and figurative Modernist traditions. Join CMA teaching artists as we learn about Catlett’s life and explore her methods of creative technique and practice.
