Roll up your sleeves and get ready for this hands-on building class! Using wood, newspaper rolls, and even found objects, young artists will delve into the fundamentals of buildings and structures. Inspired by artists Charles and Ray Eames, Andrea Zittel and all things DIY, students will think like artists and engineers as they strengthen their brainstorming, illustrative, and construction abilities! Teaching artists will guide students to safely use tools needed to build a sound and sturdy construction. Expect to leave class with a collection of magical structures, big and small!
