Can’t get enough of graphic novels? Learn to create your own! In this unique, interactive class, students will learn about the tradition of sequential art used in classic American comics, manga, and contemporary graphic novels.  Young Artists will learn techniques in cartoon and perspective drawing, character design, cover art and storyboarding as they work on a chapter of their very own graphic novel! Teaching Artists will introduce students to the work of well known graphic novelists such as Kazu Kibuishi and Chris Ware.  Perfect for those new to the art of the graphic novel, as well as those familiar with the process.
