Roll up your sleeves and get ready for this hands-on building class! Using wood, newspaper rolls, wire and other found objects, young artists will delve into the fundamentals of building and structures. Inspired by artists Charles and Ray Eames, Andrea Zittel and maker-culture, students will think like engineers to strengthen brainstorming and illustrative abilities. Teaching Artists will guide students to experiment with scale and learn the tools needed to build a sound and sturdy construction. Expect to leave class with a collection of magical structures, big and small!l!
