Does your young artist like to create his or her own stories? In this class, students will learn about the tradition of sequential art used in comic books and explore the possibilities of writing their own graphic novel. They will learn techniques in cartoon and perspective drawing, character design, lettering, and storyboarding as they work on a chapter of their comic book. Students will learn how to work with traditional pen and ink drawings to design their own cover art, and edit the final colors and images of their comics in Photoshop.
