In this class, young artists will develop their photographic eye and personal aesthetic as they explore the neighborhood around CMA further. Students will develop an understanding of DSLR cameras and cultivate design skills as they work with these applications. In addition, the class will experiment with alternative methods such as cyanotypes and polaroid transfers. Along with developing an understanding of photographic history, they will develop their photographic eye and personal vision as they explore artists such as Ingrid Pollard, Eric Gottesman, Gordon Parks and Imogen Cunningham.
