Trace your silhouette on our large mural wall. Ten paint in details like clothing and hair.

Stratacut Clay
Animate by shaving a big lump of clay layer by layer and reveal some amazing patterns inside. This project is inspired by artist and animator Oskar Fischinger.

Use cardboard to create your own bridge. Add string and sticks for details and supports.

Wise Owls give a hoot! Use cardboard tubes, paper and collage materials to create 3-D owl puppets.

Contemporary Artist Series: Alexander Calder
Alexander Calder used scraps of fabric and found objects to create circus characters. Create your own characters and then your own backdrop at the paint table.

Papier Mache Cave
Visitors will build a cave with stalagmites and stalactites out of paper and cardboard and then layer it with paper mache.
Ages: 4+

Friday, September 24
Capes
It’s fun to dress up. Create your own cape design to wear around the museum and where ever you like.
Ages 4+

Saturday, September 25
Braided Fabric
Use fabric strips to create a small rug, necklace, headband or art object by braiding.
Ages 5+

Texture Wall
Help create a collaborative texture wall in our open art space. Select interesting textures to be glued onto our mural.
