Artist Spotlight: Jacob Lawrence
African-American artist Jacob Lawrence used stylized shapes to his “Migration Series” which told the story of African-American’s migrationg from the South to the North from 1919-1930. Using some stylized stencils you can create your own characters to tell your story. Ages 5 & up.
