Free Art Island Outpost
Location: Governors Island
Ages: 1-15
Dates: Stay tuned for 2017 dates!

Visit our Free Art Island Outpost on historic Governors Island every Saturday & Sunday during the summer for free hands-on art making workshops and art-viewing experiences! The open outdoor space of the Free Arts Island Outpost beckons you to come collaboratively create! Young artists will be inspired and challenged to explore big projects utilizing found objects and traditional mediums. This is a space to invent, adapt, and transform your relationship to art and the art making process.
