Group Visits to CMA allow schools and camps to experience a personalized museum visit led by CMA Teaching Artists. Visits incorporate inquiry-based learning and give students the opportunity to both view and make art.
CMA’s school partnerships (Pre-K – 12th Grade), are led by professional teaching artists. The museum works hand-in-hand with schools to integrate the arts in classrooms, using project-based learning to creatively bridge disciplines.
CMA provides hands-on professional development workshops for administrators, educators, parents, and caregivers.
CMA Curricula Guides draw connections between interdisciplinary themes in CMA’s contemporary art exhibits and classroom learning using contextual information and reflective practice. Project Based Learning (PBL) activities are linked to core subjects to make learning an integral part of your classroom curriculum. The curricula guides are designed for diverse learners and implements Universal Design for Learning (UDL), multiple modalities, and multisensory activities.
