CMA Stories

This Week in Drawesome!

Summer Art Colony kicked off this week with the talented young artists of Drawesome! We explored our world through Zoom — visiting The Drawing Center, observing red pandas from New Zealand, viewing artwork from Curtis Talwst Santiago in Trinidad, and drawing cityscapes inspired by William Carroll. We experimented with colored bubbles to learn about contours, used sticks to explore ink drawings, and with daily movement activities, we even learned to draw with our bodies! Click here to view more students’ artwork from the week.

Don’t miss out on the fun! Nab the remaining spots in upcoming online Summer Art Colony Camps, such as Set DesignTiny Worlds, and more.
