Each week, students will learn a portion of a song and dance, as well as learn about a Broadway musical and the heroes of each story. Musical theater is a space where we can have unlikely heroes — how do these underdogs make their worlds better? This class is led by Mackie Saylor, CMA School and Community Programs Manager and Teaching Artist.

“Just look around at the world we’re inheriting, and think of the one we’ll create…”
— “Watch What Happens” from Newsies

This class takes place on Thursdays through July 30. Class times are listed in Eastern Time (ET). Participants should wear comfortable clothes to move in and have access to a small space to move around.
