Looking closely at Omar Bouragba’s layered paintings, young artists will create their own pastel sgraffito abstracts in homage to his work. Sgraffito is a mark making technique made by scratching through a surface to reveal the lower layer. Museum guests will practice mark making with a variety of “tools,” including forks, skewers and more!
