Paper folding has appeared in many parts of the world throughout history, and Japanese Origami is the most popular of the art form. The first origami instruction book, “Senbazuru Orikata”, was published in 1797! In the gallery this week, we’ll be demonstrating how to construct a basic origami sculpture to groups at a time. Join us in learning this centuries-old practice!
