Mazher Kizhar is a Yemeni artist that creates beautiful watercolor paintings of human figures, stylized to highlight emotion and mood. To try to recreate what Mazher does, we’ll be creating watercolor paintings using a special kind of colored pencil that’s activated by water. By first drawing the image in colored pencil, the artist can then apply water with a brush to create washes and fill the entire page with color! What will you paint usin this fun, new technique?
