Learn all about the art of architecture! Using found objects, students will delve into the fundamental principles of linear perspective and the creative construction of a fictitious dwelling. Inspired by the works of architects Zaha Hadid and Frank Lloyd Wright, young artists will strengthen their brainstorming and illustration abilities as they collaborate on architectural sketches and geometric structures. They will experiment with scale and learn the tools needed to build a sound and sturdy construction. Students will leave the class with a collection of architectural models.
