Love to sculpt? Bring your clay figures to life! In this online art camp, young artists will explore the fascinating process of clay sculpture as they learn the tools necessary to make their own clay figures. Experimenting with materials such as wire, paper, fabric, and clay, students will employ these techniques in the making of short films, using iStopmotion software to capture stories ranging from abstract to short narrative. Throughout the week, they will also collaborate to create their own film to share virtually with family and friends. Class size is limited to 15 children.

Suggested Art Materials: plasticine (selection of colors), air-dry clay, paper-based clay, paint, wire, wire cutters, paint (acrylic or tempera), paint brushes, cardboard. Prior to class, students will receive a curated list with purchase links, as well as DIY alternatives.

Please Note: This class takes place on Eastern Time (ET).
