How has design shaped modern life? Young artists will explore the ways in which designers from Ray Eames to Cas Holman have changed how we interact with the world around us. What problems do you see in the world, and what can you invent to solve them? After brainstorming, designers will take their ideas for new or re-designed objects from sketches to physical prototype. Along the way, they will learn digital modeling software such as SketchUp and TinkerCad, as well as physical modeling techniques.
