Students will learn about the tradition of sequential art used in American comics, manga, and contemporary graphic novels while exploring techniques in cartoon and perspective drawing, character design, cover art, and storyboarding. Throughout the week, artists will work towards completing a chapter in their very own graphic novel. This unique, interactive class is perfect for those new to the art of the graphic novel, as well as those familiar with the process. At the end of the week, copies of students’ graphic novels will be available online, as well as print-to-order.
