In this Art Colony, students will be introduced to the basic concepts of game design and sequential storytelling through hands-on projects and immersion into a digitally interactive experience. This Art Colony will take inspiration from indie games such as Wattam and EarthNight. Teaching Artists introduce young designers to narrative concepts, graphic design techniques, and user-friendly coding software, such as Scratch. Through simple coding, students will collaborate to bring their original art and story into a point-and-click game.
