In this Art Colony, aspiring photographers will develop their photographic eye and personal aesthetic as they explore the neighborhood around CMA and create their own photographic compositions! After forming a foundational knowledge of the origins of photography with exercises in cyanotypes and polaroid transfers, young photographers will learn about and practice with DSLR cameras and cultivate design skills as they work with these applications. Along with developing an understanding of photographic history, they will develop their photographic eye and personal vision as they explore artists such as Ingrid Pollard, Eric Gottesman, Gordon Parks, and Imogen Cunningham.

All Summer Art Colony at 103 Charlton Street Camps
