Inspired by Japanese Artist Eri Honda and CMA’s own Yung Oh Le Page, explore the possibilities of cardboard to create giant sculptures! Cardboard is an everyday found object that transforms into any and everything in this class. Teaching artists will guide young artists as they design, build and paint a 3-D sculpture throughout the week. Incorporating STEAM learning (Science, technology, Engineering, Art, Math)–3-D sculptures will be on display and serve as a Public Art Installation on Governor’s Island!
