Explore circuitry and tech through wearable art! In this Art Colony, students will work as engineers and artists to explore apparel, sculptures, and accessories that light up and move. Learn about conductivity, emerging technologies such as e-fabric, and the future of wearable tech while creating your own futuristic fashions, machines, 3D works of art, or anything else you can dream up! Students will use a variety of hand-crafted techniques to create their movable, sculptural works, from papier-mache to hand-sewing, and combine it with circuitry.
