In support of our mission to bring the transformative power of the arts to all children regardless of means or ability, CMA awards a limited number of full and partial scholarships to families with financial need. To be eligible for a CMA Scholarship, applicants must complete a Scholarship Form before the program deadline listed below. Due to the success of our scholarship program, financial documents may be requested to ensure CMA scholarships are going to families with demonstrated financial need.

CMA asks that families apply for our partial scholarship and contribute a partial tuition if they can. Applicants may write in how much they can contribute in the Pay-As-You-Wish option on the form. All proceeds go towards future scholarships and community programs at the museum, so we thank you in advance for your support!

Frequently Asked Questions

After submitting my Scholarship Form, do I also have to register my child for a class through the website?
No. If you apply through our scholarship program, there is no need to register for a class on our website. Registering separately on our website does not secure your child’s spot in the class; their spot is only secure after the full tuition is received. Scholarship candidates should wait for a scholarship offer before registering with our staff.

When will I hear back? What if the class my child is interested in fills up?
Scholarship placements are announced at least 3 weeks prior to the start of each program (ex: if your camp runs from June 18-22, we will notify you by May 28). We ask all applicants to choose two classes they are interested in, so if their first choice fills up, they can attend their second choice class.

Do I need to email or call you to check on my scholarship application?
Due to a high volume of applicants, please refrain from additional emails or phone calls regarding your application. We hope to notify all applicants of the outcome at least 3 weeks prior to the start of each program.
