No School and Children’s Museum of the Arts are coming to Abrons Arts Center for Spring Break April Fools Camp! Look forward to a week of projects looking at the history of tricksters, pranks, jesters, optical illusions, jokers, trick photography, riddles, and general clowning around led by Artist-Educator in Residence Frank Traynor. Campers will explore sculpture, collage, clown, poetry, music, comedy, photography, printmaking … plus a few more tricks up our sleeves!
The week will culminate in a public presentation of Foolery on Saturday, April 23 at 3 PM at Abrons Art Center. Please note that registration closes on April 11.
Proof of vaccination and masks are required.
Spearheaded by CMA Artist-Educator Frank Traynor, No School projects employ creative problem solving, mindful experimentation, collaboration, and ecological interdependency to promote social-emotional skills as well as a broad sense of wonder, joy, and possibility.
