What to Expect in Each Class

Each 60-minute virtual class is led by Early Childhood Specialist Tom Burnett and supported by a variety of puppets including Freddie the Frog, Jerry the Giraffe, and the Mystery Chicken!

These sessions combine early childhood development practices with singing, gestures, music, and art-making, including renditions of your favorite nursery songs, as well as fun originals.

Children will learn to express themselves through movement, singing, and clapping. Each session includes storytime and art-making where children explore drawing, stickering, painting, and more.

New art-making materials will be introduced each week, with an emphasis on household materials and basic art supplies.

Small class sizes allow for interaction and feedback between families and with the instructor.

From Our Families

“I cannot praise CMA and Tom Burnett enough for the quality of their online art programs! Tom is great at meeting the kids at their level and has an incredible ability to keep 4- and 5-year-olds engaged through Zoom”

“The class has been fantastic and Tom has been an absolute joy to work with. They have explored a wide range of artistic formats and styles in the class and Tom does a great job of guiding them without directing so they can maximize their own creative outlet and have it be in their voice.”

Please Note

Due to the interactive (and fun!) nature of the class, class size is extremely limited. Please make every effort to attend the class if you reserve a ticket. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket, which will allow another family to attend. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, and happy creating!

This class may be recorded for educational and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to have your image or name on screen, please join with audio only and rename yourself using the Zoom rename options.
