Accessible Art Programs

Accessible Arts include free weekend art classes, tours, and camps for children with disabilities and their families.

Inclusive Weekend programs offer structured early childhood, fine and media arts for children with disabilities and their families. Programs provide a safe space to develop social skills and manual dexterity through the arts. Typically developing siblings and friends are welcome.

“CMA opened the opportunity for us to visit others museums. Museums helped my son become the amazing person he is, and helped me to help him, and other people with disabilities to experience and be part of museums.”

— Accessible Arts Parent

This program is supported, in part, by the Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation, the New York State Council on the Arts with support of Governor Andrew Cuomo, and by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, with special thanks to City Council Members Corey Johnson and Steven Levin.
